Windjammer Anyone? 7 Years, 2 Months ago
Hey guys, has anyone ever tried the Windjammer helmet thingy? I've been researching (and plagued by) helmet buffeting and if you hold your hand under your chin it almost totally disappears. This Windjammer thingy is supposed to take care of this, cheap to (around $10 bucks from various sources such as Pro-Line Sports). I don't want to put lowers on as I'm concerned about engine heat. Thanks in advance - Rod.

For what it's worth lowers won't make a hoots difference in engine heat.

rodkoch Musky's right.I've got Bucks lowers on mine and for cooler weather
or rain I put a set of desert dogs on my big bar. No problem with heat.

Greysnake, I looked at Bucks and really like them but I have a midnight (not a Silverado) and I put a Baron's windshield on...will Bucks still bolt up to it? I'll throw them a question too and see what they say...Thanks - Rod.

Rodkoch I've not seen the Barons shield on a roadie ,but if you have a similer
mount they should bolt right up. Buck can let you know.

don't know about the Windjammer.

as for the lowers, shoot Buck an email. He's very good at giving you a prompt and candid response.
