Thanks for the input guys - I'm running just a hair on the rich side now (judging by soot color in exhaust), so maybe I'll be alright when I port... -RK.

Subject: starter problems
Papa Bear: with a new battery installed, i get all lights and electronics functioning when I push the starter button, but only a click. No starter rotation at all. Prognosis please? Papa Bear
