The drill bit and screw are for taking the brass plug out of the PMS tower. The first time you jet it's easiest to take the carb off. You have to get the brass plug out and you have to get the stock screws out of the float bowl so you can replace them with the Allen head screws. Any jetting after the first time can be done with the carb on the bike.

Vito, just changing the air filter without changing the air box, should not have made any difference. Are you sure you didn't leave something unplugged?

Did you just put a new filter in the stock box or did you put on a different box?

I removed the original filter and replaced it with a K&N filter.
They sent me the wrong plug to block off the original air intake, so I covered the the hole with a piece of lite steel and sealed it off.

The original box is still there.

Thanks for your time. What do you think

You need to start your own post Vito C otherwise folks will start mixing the two problems up and you won't know whose talking to who,
