WOT test shows to be just right on the main jet. I is running great at moment with the pms screw set out at 3/4 turn out. As for the Pilot jet being to rich I agree, but it will not run with the stock pilot 35A . I think the high flow air breather will not allow it suck fuel from the 35A pilot jet, only the 50 pilot jet. What do you think?

What kinda needle ya got in there Bro? The only time ever had anything bigger than the stock 35 was a 40 and the stock yamaha hog log. When I 1st jetted with the DynoJet kit put in the 37.5 and that was to rich. Are you using
the baron`s kit or yamaha`s speedstar kit?

You might want to go with a Baron`s or DynoJet kit, when the dealer did my rejetting he left in the stock needle and put in a 40 pilot.Seems that`s the what Dealer`s call rejetting .Ran like crap till I redid it myself.BUT I`d find out exactly what in your carb.Or maybe find you a rice rocket shop that don`t mind working on a cruiser. They also usually have Dyno`s in THEIR Shops. Hope this helps Sclbates keet at it.I Love My Bike Man!!

Something's not right. You have a very rich pilot and lean PMS.

The fuel gets 'sucked up' from the fuel bowl due to the pressure differential across the carb. The pilot jet meters the amount of fuel that the carb receives. High flow means greater pressure differential and more fuel.

Have you checked your float level?

Has the carb been cleaned lately?
