I live in a house with four women, so the wife understands my need for garage time. It's the only estrogen-free room in the house, and I keep it just a little messy to keep them out. Got my welder, my wheeled toys, my old retriever, my music and my beerfridge. Just a little heaven on earth.

My wife told me that she didn't lose me to another woman, but my mistress is in the garage! My brother-in-law said even though it's a Yamaha, I have H.D. syndrome. H.D. being hundreds of dollars!

Hahaha. How well I know that place! A few years ago, I lived with my wife, two daughters, a mother-in-law, my wife's grandmother, and one cat, a female of course. I remember getting outvoted a lot and saying 'yes, dear' and 'yes, ma'am' a lot.

Oldest daughter moving out in next few weeks. Still a long road ahead with the two younger ones..... Love my mancave, er.... garage. Just spent an hour tinkering, added a throttle control to the R* and did a little white wall cleaning.

I told the wife one day "don't worry honey, the bike will never replace you"...her reply..."At least not till you teach it to bring you a beer"... Can they do that too?

Hmmm? There's gotta be a way!
