Fear not, you can have that carb off in 10 minutes with a little practice. I hope you included a Adjustable Primary Mixture Screw with all that you did right??

the 200 main will be way to rich, but the bike will like it till carbon starts to build up so keep an eye on it. The pilot jet was the worst could not get it to stumble turning the pms screw in so I went back to stock pilot fuel eco came back and the bike was tuneable.

Good discussion , good advise and timely for me . Didnt listen though and last night I installed the 190 main jet and the replacement pilot jet and out three turns on the PMS as directed. Guess what , It runs so rich at idle that I cant even use the choke ( enricher ) for more than 3 or 4 seconds even this morning when it was 10 degrees C outside . Ran good on the highway but I can tell its a little too rich , hesitates a bit when hitting the throttle at cruise speed . And hiccuped in annoyance after a good run when idleng into my parking area . Then I got a note back from Dyno Tech support saying With my pipes "Cobra 2 into 1"
and the K&N replacement air filter I should only use the Stage 1 instructions ( the 175 main jet ) Yet when I phoned their tech support they said stage 2 and were quite definite about it !! Cant see how the 175 main jet will fix my rich starting / idle problem though . Right now im thinking about turning in the PMS screw as that will affect Both Idle mixture and Cruise mixture ....I think . Any comments on that approach ...

thats how my bike was with dyno pilot (no choke needed) white bike carbon all over the rear fender.
turned the pms in till it was closed and the bike still seemed to run.
went back to stock pilot about 2 3/4 turns out and she runs nice need the choke to warm up and good to go..
the 190 main will be ok if you do not baby your bike but if you lug, it will load up
you did the poormans on the stock box? if not yes put the 175 in, but I was getting a lean sneeze that small so I am up to the 185 dyno main now. might even put the 190 in as I run the snot out of her on the freeway everyday. and the dyno run still shows a little on the lean side that I could go richer and still be ok. it pulled almost 4 more horse with the enrichner pulled when running on the dyno, so that is why I might go to the 190.

Thanks , Appreciate the feedback . Not sure what "poormans " refers to ,I have the stock airbox but installed a K&N filter . Didnt have my jets or tools with me today so I turned the PMS in to 1 turn out instead of three and the Bike came alive . Going to check the plugs now ....when I checked after my run in this am they were Black Soot ,just as I thought they might be . Regardless I will reinstall the Original pilot this weekend as you suggest .

"Poormans" refers to installing the K&N filter and drilling holes in the plastic airbox back housing to allow in more air. I actually cut off most of the lower 1/2 of mine. There is a thread on it with pics.

Had the same problem with the pilot 3 turned out the bike stumbled turned it in one turn and the bike runs good you can turn it in all the way and it won't stumble
