The needle adjustment was just what I needed, and man what a difference from before! Now it pulls in every gear, throttle response is great, and acceleration is unbelieveably better.
I think I still need to tweak the
PMS a bit more, backfire on hard
decel seems intermitant and I haven't played with it yet to find the sweet spot. Also she seems to be a bit rich at idle because it won't start and run at full choke when cold (runs briefly w/ black smoke & stalls), but will start unchoked with a little throttle and run 1/2 choked. I'm not sure what to do to correct this yet. I also vented the fuel cap as stated in the tech article, and replaced my fuel filter, flow is much better but still having a problem with sustained high
RPM.

Hypercharger
Cobra pipes
170
main jet
Baron's needle, clip on 6th groove no spacers
PMS 2.5 turns out
Accelerator pump adjusted
Cleaned & oiled air filter / new fuel filter
Altitude range 1,000 - 1,750 ft.
So far the only adjustments I've made are to the PMS and accelerator pump, are there other settings that should be checked or changed that would help in fine tuning? Also with my altitude range, how much can I expect it to help?
