Dial-a-Jet fuel induction systems, Has anyone tried this on their roadstar?
I have a 07- 1700 with a stage 2 exhaust mod with a K&N filter in a stock airbox with stock jets. Will this be helpful to me ?

Not worth it IMO unless you are going to be changing all the time. Going way up in eleavtaion or way down constantly. Things like that. Once you get the bike set up well there isn't much reason to change it.

With stage 2 pipes and stock air box there is no need to rejet.

I know that right now my jetting is ok, but in the future I will go to proper set of pipes and hyper charger type intake. The main thought of concern is that next summer I will be going out to Billings Montana for Star Days and spend a couple of weeks riding up in the mountains while out there. I know a rejet would be beneficial in this case, but I would need to rejet again when I left the area.
The dail-a-jet seemed to be the ticketI needed, but I was looking for someone who might have used it ,to get more info on it
Thanks
Rat

A lot of people have done what you are planning with no problems. At most they just tweak the PMS. I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks Coug,,
interesting concept, you intentionally set up your carb lean and the dial a jet compensates..It even says in the article that it can't help a properly adjusted carb..seems to me it is just another gadget to go hay wire..in reality, you have just added another jet to what is already there..
Cruzrat, let us know how it does if you try it...
