mukini 42mm need some advice 1 Month ago  
I recently got installed a mukini 42mm and the bike is running bad all around . I have aftermarket pipes , ported intake and a sidwinder intake . Should I jet the carb and what jet sizes should I use . Also how many turns on the mixture ? thanks for the help .

lunchboxx Hang in there some of the guys have the 42 and they can give you some hints on it I am sure. We'll keep this close to the top so they will see it quick.

I got mine from Hellriser Custom and they set them up for the Road Star sorry I can't help

Check out the Roadstar Riders Forum they have quite a few guys who are running them.
Maybe Clifford will jump in here he would probably know

Needle Manufacturer: Mikuni
Needle Clip: 3
Jet Manufacturer: Mikuni
Main Jet Size: 167
Pilot Jet Size: 25
PMS Screw Manufacturer: Mikuni
PMS Turns Out: 1.75

the above setup is for a bored engine but should give you a starting place, be sure you have no manifold leaks...
