Got that popping /miss problem solved! maybe. 3 Years, 4 Months ago
Thanks Guys for your suggestions. I did find a leak around exhaust pipe gasket by spraying a little carb cleaner on area. After Recall, they use same gaskets. First I noticed a lot of crackling on the intake but no leak,It looks bad and scary as photo shows. I better replace that and new exhaust pipe gaskets.

Possible, just father time, the bike is a 2000, with a little over 50,000 miles. vibration and heat there too, however I always thought it was metal but its just hard rubber or plastic.

Glad you found the problem - I wonder how much not replacing the gaskets saved them and cost you.

Yes Chaplain, Thats a good question, they claim that they have to order
$2000.00 worth of parts to do the Recall. But it doesn't include new gaskets for all the parts they have to remove just to get to the area they are working on.
