!!! Hey I see you're in Tulare - I'm in Porterville!

Did you jet the carb yourself, or have it done at D&E, or what? I'm lookin to rejet the carb and install my Thunder air kit... and possibly remove the AIS. I heard there's a little more work to do on the CA editions than the other states' editions.

Nice to have ya on here!

:-DD.

This one was done in Hanford. I'm the 3rd owner and the the 1st owner had it done If I see him I will ask him who it was for sure. I do know it's an autoparts place downtown and has a motorcycle shop in the back. Very pleased sounds really good and runs awesome. Just has that little popping on the deceleration and I heard if you take the smog off that should go away.

Its probably been said plenty of times before but, The AIS injects (I) air (A) into the exhaust system so that the exhaust gases are diluted and therefore the emission readings come within the legal limits. As Cali has stricter laws, a more complicated system is used but basically is the same outcome. So a regular AIS is only connected to the carburation via a vacum hose.(i think)
