pipes & hypercharger 1 Year, 10 Months ago  
If i install a set of Cobra Speedster Longs do I have to rejet the carb tyhen at a future date I install a Hypercharger do I have to rejet again

Should'nt have to re-jet with just pipes. I would wait till both are installed.

Anytime you mess with the intake, you need to rejet.

Ride it it may just need an adjustment on the pms after the pipes ....just my opinion....but like beef said you may need to rejet...add more fuel after more air is added .Coug <br><br>Post edited by: Cougar, at: 2007/02/14 17:31

Naw ya don't all ya need to do is adjust the PMS and MAYBE move the clip on the needle. I am running BAK, HK K2 pipes with home made glasspac baffles, ported stock manifold with the stock 172.5 main jet and the BAK needle and Barons PMS. Don't complacate thing do the little stuff first.

With just the pipes you don't have to jet. Save that for if / when you do the intake. The stock needle has no adjustment so your adjusting will be tweaking the PMS but put a couple tanks through it after you put the pipes on before you touch anything.
