Ok, so I finally got around to unplugging the PC and hooking up my o2 sensors.. presto! She doesn't have quite the giddy up she did, but she doesn't do that weird thing. I have this strange feeling it was running retardedly rich, because I ran about 3/4 of a tank and got about 160 km... which is about 100 or more shy of where it should be. I also drilled the stock air box (before the removal) in hopes that it did something for it, but not much if anything. On the flip side, she's running like a top now, and once I settle on an intake and install it I'll throw a dyno run in and then I can brag about all 70 horse I've got Thanks for your help guys, I appreciate it!

There you go. I went with the Speedstar/K&N BAK. I had to mod it a little to block the stock air intake from the air box, but no big problem and it works great. Again with the stock 'brain' it adjusted for the new setup and runs very well. I noticed more performance increase with the BAK than the exhaust. Maybe you can ebay that PC and make enough to break even on the BAK.

Dan:

Glad that fix of removing the PCIII worked for you.

The new Fuel Injected models seem quite forgiving when it comes to adding mods...

I want to thank you all in advance. I just ordered my speedstar longs and am expecting them anyday now. I was sweating how it would work because the bozo at the yami dealership here said that it wouldn't fun for anything without one. Nice to know I won't need it for when I get a new intake for it.
