I've got an 08.. I know the Harleys you can take to the stealer and I think its called a SERT or something, essentially they plug it into a computer and mess around with it. I've got an 08 and it idles about 980-1080 rpm (According to when my PC3 is plugged into my computer) it gets an acceptable little lope to it once its warm, I might give it a shot at the stealer to see if I can get them to bump it down, the other option is one of my buddies figured there just might be an idle adjustment on the throttle body, I'd have to tear it apart to be able to let you know though.

OK first I have a carb 1999 Silverado--got a chrome tach on ebay for about $50 I think (including shipping)--said it would fit any 2 cyl bike--was advertised as a Harley tach--works great and the wires hook up the same---same color wires and all--came with a mount and I put it right between my risers--easier to see while riding than looking down at the speedo--at about 2000 RPM in 5th doing about 68-70 MPH--cruising. And my idle varies---could be anywhere between 850 and 1100 RPM, I guess it depends on what my greenie big girl thinks is best---Just IMHO--I haven't messed with any carb settings---she runs just fine all the time--no popping or puking or blueing---OH and I have a stock setup--just a stage 1 exhaust--thinking about doing the Cheapman's BAK--but I don't want to have to rejet. Can I drill out the air filter box without rejetting?? Just a question for all the gurus here or someone that has done the same. I realize I'll have to adjust the PMS ----wish my wife had an adjustment---just kidding--I married a sweetheart (16 years!!!!--not old you pervs---we've been married 16 years) and she lets me ride alone or with my buddies. Isn't that sweet??? Ronnie in MD VROOM VROOM!! ride hard but safe
