That's the second time I've seen those instructions. In those instructions they are setting the float for a V star 1100. Are the settings for both bikes the same? Since you had the manifold off you you need to be very sure you have everything sealed up. Check for any air leaks. Then go back to the stock pilot and follow the jetting procedure - Jetting
