Mountain Mileage 2 Years, 7 Months ago
Why does my mileage improve when I ride in the mountains? I just finished a trip, a long great trip, and found my mileage would improve almost 25% when I rode in the mountains. On the flat terrain I averaged 42 mpg but as soon as I started ckimbing in the mountains over 8000 ft passes my mileage improved to 50+. Any answers??
