Could be a bunch of things, but likely suspects to me seem like the PMS ( they all have it, "diamonds" or not ) might need a tweak, but if it's just a cough or hesitation coming from idle, you could also try adjusting the accel pump screw as described here. If you're already moving and let all the way off the throttle and then twist it, does it do the same, or just from a stopped position?
