some advice please 2 Years, 9 Months ago

o7 silverado, stage 3, k&n stock replacement, just removed ais, 39mpg, mostly 70 mph, add 300 big ones to weight of bike. I have the now and then cough off idle, it has slight hesitation in first if I"m rolling along slow no throttle at idle speed and then give it throttle. I tested for popping after ais removed. going down hill 2nd gear about 25 or 30 mph, let off throttle there is some popping but not extreme. so what do ya think. PS I discovered my bike may be female, like diamonds every time I add new chrome we seem to get along just alittle bit better.

Could be a bunch of things, but likely suspects to me seem like the PMS ( they all have it, "diamonds" or not ) might need a tweak, but if it's just a cough or hesitation coming from idle, you could also try adjusting the accel pump screw as described here. If you're already moving and let all the way off the throttle and then twist it, does it do the same, or just from a stopped position? RK

its alittle bit of hesitation when idling slow in first and give it normal throttle, If I give it a little more twist its not a problem. thanks for the reply. If its not to hard to get to a may try to adjust pump.
