Suess!

Well, you're the first one here I've seen that has me beat at elevation (6,700 ft ASL). And the answer is yes, your bike is going to run rich.

First off, forgive me the long explanation if you already know how to jet...just trying to be thorough. To give you an idea on how much you MAY need to lean out your bike (every single Roadie is different, oddly enough), I'm running a Dynojet needle/jet kit as opposed to a Mikuni (some like the Mikuni kits better, e.g. Baron's), and the jet numbering system is different between the two--there's a conversion table in the Tech section here.

I went from the stock 182.5 Mikuni main jet to a Dynojet 175, which is roughly the equivalent of a Mikuni 163 (no such thing). There are 5 clip position on the needle (as opposed to one position on the fat stock needle), and the further away you place the circlip from the blunt end of the needle, the richer the circuit, with 5th clip being the richest. I'm currently running the DJ 175 main, stock 35 pilot jet, needle on 3rd clip, and PMS screw 2 1/4 turns out. After all the changes, my plugs went from being black & sooty and me having a nice case of SVS to light tan plugs, front & back, and no more SVS.

Hope that helps!

RK
