It is my understanding that the float had a tear/crack, and the accelerator pump was seized which makes no sense being that the bike ran. I have a meeting with them tomorrow. Till then I will say they are a reputable shop here in Calgary and I believe they are looking to do the right thing I just want to be prepared as I am aware of those baffle you with bulls*$#@ statements and arguments. They ordered the part, regardless of the outcome I will need it.

dvblair: Has anyone cut off the heel portion of the shifter? I never use it and would like to have the extra room. I would like to remove it but it looks like you would need a spacer on the shaft and I'm not sure ...
