Where to buy individual jets, and what model carb? 2 Years, 8 Months ago
Where can I get individual jets, and what model Mikuni carb do I have? I've got a 2003 Roadstar Midnight. Thanks!

Any MC dealership should have Mikuni jets. HD uses the Mikuni carbs as well as the R* and Kaw, and all the others.

Ok, here's the deal - I'm rejetting my carb this weekend and have not had a chance to see what I have. If I were to buy 4 or 5 jets, which would give me the greatest chance for having one be the "right" one?

If you're using a Dynojet kit, individual jets are available here.

Hard to say without knowing what's in your carb. It's according to which needle you have. If it's a stock needle AND you are changing to a free flowing airbox and/or exhaust then you will need larger main sizes than if you are using an aftermarket needle.
And unless you are changing or modding your airbox there's no need to change jets.

But if you have an aftermarket needle and open airbox... get the Mikuni round head jets (large head or small head) in 167.5, 170, 172.5.

Thanks for the help guys, I bought everything from the 167.5 to the 180, which is 6 jets - I think that should do it.

By the way, atlanticjetsports.com is a great retailer, they have all sorts of stuff for mikuni, and they ship out of Jersey for us east coasters! Great customer service too!
