Jetting and ported manifold 1 Year, 8 Months ago
Hi guys,I am running V&H long Shots, my air breather is an adapted from a triumph spitfire, Doc has seem it there is no air restriction what so ever. I ported my manifold and I am running a DJ kit main is 175 stock pilot, needle is third grove from the top my air mixture is set at 3 3/4, this is my starting point, I turned it in until it stumbled and out and this was the differance.
I still have to do the WOT test, so what I am asking, am I in the ball park or should I change something.

Thanks Charlie

I would say your pretty close. Porting makes you richer but your settings should be close. Might go in 1/4 turn on the PMS but like you said, do the WOT and see what she says.

Yes, you're in the ball park.

As Musky said .... do the WOT test but you should set the needle to the 4th clip for that. If you do, then you'll have to reset the PMS in a bit
