I attached a Dyno Run that I had done on the 25th of Oct. I was mainly interested in the AFR to see if my "Butt Dyno" was tuned. I was surprised by the results...

06 Cast Wheel
Dyna Module set at 34A and 5K
Chariot Extended manifold
Baron's BAK
Hooker Fourbidden pipes
Stock Carb: 167.5 Mikuni Main, Stock Pilot, Dyna Needle on 3rd clip, PMS 2 turns out.
Copper slugs replaced resistors in plug boots.



If I read the AFR results correctly, I need a little more on the PMS and more of an accelerator shot to help with that lean spike.

Now the Hate...

It was Hotter than the recent average and I did some lunchtime errands into downtown Phoenix from Luke. A 15 min run on I10 to get to the area I needed to be in. Stopping and making sure that I switched the petcock to off to let the bowl run dry before shutting her down, she burped, spit, and puked out of the vent tube EVERYTIME I cranked her back up. One time the Pump ran exceptionally long as I was backing out of a space and looked down to see the 10 foot long line of fuel I dumped on the ground.

I'm going to bite the bullet and put on the "Evil HSR" with the linkage on the left side as soon as I can get a cable made for it. Will probably do the VOES since the TPS MOD can't be done on this HSR. I'll post results after I get it done.

yep, a bit lean on the front. My preference for wot is a hair richer 12.5 to 12.8, helps in keeping temps down aand detonation down. I'm kind of surprised on the small hp gain though. The info I have for the 1700's, stock is 63hp. I have the 1600, and with same mods had a 20% gain, stock hp is 52 on 1600. when I added the 42hsr went to 68.7 99tq

You can still do the tps mod, but you'll have to fab your own brkt, I know Ken (mucker) won't do that carb.

Ken gave me the bad news back when I got the carb...

I just changed my PMS from 2 turns out to 2 1/2 turns out and the accel pump screw from all the way down on the locknut on top to 2 turns out. Will ride it in the AM to check it.
