Not the first musky.. but I know the guy who bought it new. Friend of the family, He never touched it. Only put 1500 miles on it. He was afraid of it. As a matter a fact.. I called him today to make sure. He said it was on the floor when he bought it new with 2 miles on it. Dealer prepped it , he brought it home the next day. When he was gonna trade it for a lighter bike..(a sporty) I bought it. Plus, I couldnt get the bowl screws out earlier..typical "first time in the carb stuff". I'm searching the site , cause I remember someone saying they had the same setup and it wasnt to long ago.

I'm running a 40 but I put it in to get my PMS in from six turns out. Now that I have the oversized o-rings in I am going to try and go back down in size.

No musky.. I thought someone was suprised that they took a new carb apart and found a 50. Maybe I'm wrong. I'm just suprised that there was a 50 in it from the factory.. but then again the PMS was only out 1/2 turn when I drilled the plug out, so they knew what they had done. I was hoping maybe there was a contest from Yamaha that said , whoever finds a 50' pilot in thier factory carb wins a million dollars. guess not
