I have a 2005 roadstar silverado. I just removed the AIS system and bought a "MAXAIR" air cleaner and jet kit. What #'s of main, pilot, and needle jet clip position should I use?

I will be installing the the Roadhouse "Dually" pipe system and a Yamaha ignition module (is it needed?) soon. Will the jet settings change when I get these to put on too?

600ft elevation - Dallas Tx area...

Thanks,

Post edited by: bjones, at: 2005/07/20 10:14

If you bought the Maxair product then I would recommend that you go to their Forum and post your question. As I don't own one of their products so I cannot comment on the Forum.

If you have problems then contact Lee at MaxAir ( lee@maxairengineering.com ); he is very accommodating.

You don't need the Yamaha ignition module for the air cleaner and pipe change. You will need to 'tweak' the carb once you add the dualies (PMS or clip setting) but you may be able to stay with the same jets.

Good luck,
