04 RS Knock Solved 3 Years, 4 Months ago
I have been having constant problems with my 04 RS since day one. Flat spots in the throttle, knocking sound, etc.

I went to the Star Days event last week and talked to Bulldog face to face at the Baron's tent. He offered some suggestions that has cured the problem - the bike is free from knocking, no flat spot and runs great. Gas mileage stayed the same and there is no more hesitation. I had installed the DynaJet kit and it didn't work. I never could dial it in.

This is what I did:
Baron's Jet Kit -- Clip on 4, standard spacer and washer. PMS on 2.5 turns.
Baron's AIS Removal Kit.
Baron's Torque Ring for the carb.

$67 complete.

I have stock pipes and air box.

Thanks for the update.

Bulldog is full of it .... knowledge that is I'm glad his suggestions helped you out.

I bet it's taken a load off your mind and made the bike more 'enjoyable'.

You can't even imagine... It's what I assume the bike should have been like from the start. He also told me it was a very common thing to have the intake leak which could also cause this issue. That may have also been a factor here because I had boys doing the repair check it.
