PS: You may want to buy the covers. I believe that they have an anti-corrosion coating on them PLUS, instructions.

G'day all. I've just received my AIS removal kit and before starting I thought I'd check with you guys on any pitfalls that I need to be aware of. For example: Can I do any damage while removing the fittings??

The fittings are bolted to the cylinder heads so you are not at risk of damage there. Use Loctite blue on the bolts when you intall the covers. Otherwise, you're just unbolting the air pump and blocking off the vacuum line to your carb. You will have to unbolt the rectifier to remove the air pump and the cover between the cylinders on the left side to get at the bolts for the pipe the goes to the back cylinder. Just take your time. It's Easy!
