$40-$50 dyno runs?! I have found two Dynojets around here and one is $235 a run and the other is $350 for a couple of runs PLUS shop time if they do any work on the bike. For those kinds of prices mine's close 'nuff to right.

Are you sure that is only for a run? Even in Fl, they are between 40 to 60, 235, 250 would include the tune to the carb or FI. I use the same guy in a mobil unit, 40 bucks 3 pulls,

I wish I could find a dyno around here. Living in corn country has its drawbacks.

Heres from dyno research they list dyna centers in each state that are certified

Just how does a dyno run with a bike work? Do you need to have the overall gear ratio so the HP can be calculated? I've done dyno runs on race engines (auto), but it was an engine dyno, not a chassis dyno.

Walk me through the procedures.

Man you guys up north are screwed. There are a lot of authorized dyno's around here and the prices range from $40 - $60 for a 3 pull run. If you want you carb rejetted then it starts at $175 and goes up. I get the carb jetted as close as I think I can get it take it for a 3 pull run and the make adjustments myself based on the AF ration that I get and the HP and torque.
