BTW, I used the afr chart from this article, I did try to use the leaner
a/f in each circuit shown to still have the economy side. and more so for the cruise portion, found that the 14 at cruise yielded me 50mpg and at 13 for cruise 40mpg, and with the price of gas and the amount of miles I do (22k yrly) I like the 50mpg, but still rich enough at
wot that performance is still fantastic. I don't care much for what the
hp and tq are, since the operator can manipulate those numbers as well, but if afr is where it needs to be, hp and tq fall into place as well. the guy I use also uses the
dyna brand exhaust gas analyzer, only real way to screw up that reading is not having the sniffer sitting in the pipe correctly. any way, hope this helps, use what ya need, toss the rest

also, if not using the Yost power tube, might want to consider it, really helps to atomize the gas, my wot was so rich that I had to drop down from a 165 to a 160. with the 165 afr was aprox 11.6, There was no reason for my riding style to be that rich, rare that I ride past 80 any way, but even so, if I need to pass, I get no indications of being lean w/160
