I'll tell ya Scott, sometimes these carbs just are weird and it goes against all theory, I had at one time richend the pilot
screw by about 1/8 turn, gas went up 2mpg, consistently. And got rid of the decel
pops too, the pops were my clue to being lean, but the more gas for the pilot ckt, who'd ever thought mpg's would get better??

, it was set-up once, and was spot on, the 4 or 5 I actually had my hands in helping some friends, also all 1 time, spot on tuning. I never really played with the stocker, most just from reading about 5k to 10k worth of posts over the past 5yrs of all various issues and what the fixes were. but when It comes to the 42, I can't really begin to count the various combination's I tried
