In case you're interested you can set the float level with the carburetor on the bike. The spec with the stock manifold holding the carb is 4-5mm above the rear bowl flange using the tube method and the bike level. I use a socket type allen wrench on an extension to loosen the bowl drain initially. After the drain is loose you can loosen and tighten it with your fingers as needed and use the extension to tighten when through.

To save time if I have to remove the bowl for adjustment I only reattach with 2 screws in opposite corners while checking again and when through install the other 2 screws. It helps to have a ball end allen wrench for this kind of work.

Also, I've found that the clear yellow colored 1/8" gas line for weed eaters and the like is more flexible and seals better than the aquarium hose that we all started out using. They usually have it at your local hardware store.

I've found that the 660 Grizzly float valve will, with the float at full drop, flow a little more fuel with gravity feed and set between the 4 and 5mm spec I mentioned than the stock float valve will with the same setting and hooked to the pump.
