#385516 Shaggyone (User) Junior Boarder Posts: 131 had air kit and jetting done, now throttle issue 11 Months, 3 Weeks ago   so i just picked my bike up from the shop 10 mins before they close, so i can't call them for advise until morning. I just had a big air kit put on and carb rejetted. Everything runs fine, but the throttle sticks. it doesn't roll on or closed, but more like it pops open, and if i let go if the throttle while riding it will hold like cruise control unless i hit a bump or push it off. I'm assuming it's a cable issue at carb but I'm not sure what to check or adjust. Might it be as simple as loosening a tension bolt? I dont want to have to tear everything apart since i paid a shop to do it right but if it's an easy enough adjustment for me to make I'd rather do it then have to take it back over to them to turn a screwdriver 1/2 a turn.   Logged       The administrator has disabled public write access. #385517 DocShadow (Admin) Hmmmm .... send beer Admin Posts: 17615 Re:had air kit and jetting done, now throttle issue 11 Months, 3 Weeks ago   Yes, loosen the nut a bit at the carb end.
