7 hours is insane. I can have the carb off and in my hands in about 30min. Then again I can swap a manual trans in almost any subaru in about 30min. Once you've done something enough times... But if you've never done it, take your time. First time I did the heads on mine it took me forever, the 2nd time was much quicker, and hte 3rd I was moving about almost like i knew what I was doing.
