Jetting 7 Months, 4 Weeks ago
New to the Forum. A friend told me about it. Thought I wouold give it a try.

Just bought a used '07 Roadstar yesterday with 17k miles, Bub Big Willies, Baron's air kit. He said it had been rejetted, so i took the carb off to verify. This is what I found :

Needle on 3rd groove with with 1 washer under spacer, one washer over clip. Washer under spacer appears to be a little fatter than the washer over clip. I am asummimg all the jets and needle are Baron's as he gave me a box of jets that had the Baron's name.

172.5 jet
35 jet
pms at 2.5 turns.

Does any of this sound correct ?

Thank's for the help

Sounds right. If you have the patience to take a very mundane ride to check cruise mpg's. That will also confirm the jetting. And what I mean by a mundane ride is a ride at 65mph, and holding it steady for a good 100 or so miles. then check mpg's. should be......at least 40 and as good as 50mpg

I guess that explains your screen name, If you just bought it and didn't have any problems, and you already took it apart.

If it is running well then button'er up and ride. If it isn't then check for a vacuum leak at the manifold to head connection.
