Yeah I just hate that on youtube it doesn't really sound like it does in real life Guess it would give me an idea though.

Did my homework and listened to MANY exhaust on YouTube before making my choice and here’s the one who sold me to the Shortshots, I own a 1600cc and sound is very similar to my set.

IMO they’re the best sounding pipes I’ve heard so far for the Roadie, Harley's eat your heart out!

The 69 Rambler is not bad either!

It sounds really good! Only thing is...in my opinion the 1600 and 1700's sound totally different to me. I try to watch 1600 videos since that is what I ride.

I actually think the 1700s sound a lot better than the 16's. Again this is my opinion

I agree the 1600 has a smooth idle and tone the 1700's have a lope and a different tone.

And your bike is a perfect example of the loping sound!! Your the one who got me stuck on wanting a 1700
