Jetting for Forcewinder and Big Straights 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I just got a Forcewinder intake and Barons ported manifold deliver this week. I'm looking for a little help from those of you who have do this before with a Barons jet kit. I bought my 05' Midnight with hardchrome 3" big straights and added smart partz quiet baffles, not sure if this will affect the jetting, everything else is stock. I live in Southern California about 1000 ft. elevation and any help with this would be much appreciated.

A base start point with the Barons kit
main jet 170 or 172.5
stock pilot jet
clip on 4th groove counting from blunt end oops, (edit), clip, spacer, 1 washer
2 to 2.25 turns out on pilot screw
turn the idle adjuster in a turn or 2 before you start, this is just to make sure the bike will start to begin with. After about 15, 20 minutes of riding, re-adjust the idle adjuster to proper idle rpm.
Tweak from there where needed.

Barons needle does not call for a pilot change

I'd suggest to use some hymalar to seal the manifold.
