Leaking Fuel From exhaust 3 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Bike 2002 1600 R* 25,000 know that it sat for a considerble amount of time at some point... been restoring it slowly..

My bike sat for about 5 days with a full tank of gas. Found leaking from the exhaust whenever i try and start it will turn over fine but will spit gas out and that is oil. had an oil change around 1k miles ago. Everything that I have researched is pointing to dirty carb/jetting. Was taking the bike in to have the speedo checked out anyways. just wish i could have rode it there instead of on a trailer.... any experience/thoughts?

Sounds like the carb needs a good cleaning. Check the needle valve and seat in the float bowl. the end of the valve will deform and not seal proper.
