Thanks for all the response!
OK, here is what happened after I put the Seafoam and MMO
in the tank. I started it and fiddled with the chock and throttle for about 10 mins, it finally started taking throttle. I suited up and rode it like I stole it. After the ride it still was not right so I pulled the carb
and found alot of varnish inside. I cleaned it the best I could with carb cleaner. I found the small (.060 main
jet) plugged so bad I could not get it cleaned out. Also the slide diaphram was so swollen that I almost couldn't get it back in. So, I found a place online and ordered every jet, diaphragm and o-ring in the carb.
OK, here is the question, I have read several places to not remove the throttle position sensor. Does this mean that I can not unplug the harness from the bike so I can get the carb off the bike to clean it good and rebuild it right.
Thanks Again for the help!
