Does my bike need to be jetted? 4 Years, 3 Months ago
In this post we will try to answer a few of the more commonly asked questions regarding the jetting of a Roadstar. No two bike are the same, but the majority respond in a similar manner to modifications. Hope this helps.

Do I need to rejet?

- Stock exhaust pipes and aircleaner: NO

- Stage 1 thru 3 exhaust and stock aircleaner: NO but possible PMS adjustment needed, for info see Tech tip

- Aftermarket exhaust and stock aircleaner: NO but possible PMS adjustments needed, for info see Tech tip

- Aftermarket exhaust and K&N in stock airbox : NO but possible PMS adjustment needed, for info see Tech tip

- Aftermarket exhaust and K&N in stock Drilled airbox (Poorman's BAK ): YES , At this point, airflow has increased enough that if the bike demonstrates poor running characteristics, a rejet is necessary.

- Stage 3 exhaust and K&N in stock drilled airbox (Poorman's BAK): YES , At this point, airflow has increased enough that if the bike demonstrates poor running characteristics, a rejet is necessary.

- Aftermarket exhaust and aftermarket airbox (eg. BAK) : YES
