Jokre, try a 167.5 and 4th clip, thats what I run and I'm set up about the same as you.
Ride safe,

Jokre,

Running Samson Slashers, Ness big sucker here also. Using DJ kit. Using 190 main, dpjm37 pilot. Kit number is DJ4176 for 04. Although I'm running the DJ 190 main, I plan to drop to a DJ185 or 175 mikuni. The stock main is a mikuni 182.5. Yes, that's right the main jet size needs to drop to compensate for the aftermarket (larger) needle. Although mine is tweaked with the 190 and passes WOT flawlessly, I think I can get another 3mpg by going down just a tad on the main (averaging only 40mpg now). BTW, the clip is on the 4th slot. Hope this helps,

Loy
