Thank you for posting the info on your web site about how the carbs on these bikes work, been every informative.
Thank you for you Stop thread, actually made me stop and think for a minute. I was thinking and A$$ U ME ing that my bike was running rich because almost everything at my altitude runs rich and I was seeing soot in the pipes. After reading the info from Curt on how all the circuits work it looks like it is actually lean on the pilot
jet do to exhaust popping and backfiring on dec,(no AIS
) and good on the needle.
I do have one question and I forgot to take a picture, I hace an adjustment knob under the air cleanner that runs up to the lower right side of the carb
. I remember seeing a pic of it on here but I can not find it now, it that an extension for the PMS
? If so where is the idle adjustment screw?
