At a point to do one thing at a time. main has very little play at cruise speed, leave that where you are at,Try 2.5 turns out on pilot screw. Ride for a bit, 15, 20min, then adjust you idle, with the idle adjuster, not the pilot screw. Ride a tank or 2 before you make another change, unless it's really not rideable. After that, I'd go 1/4 turn in again (leaner)
Curious, who put the air kit on without jetting? I'm pretty sure Kury provides all the carb parts for jetting.

Not sure who put the kit on it was already done when I bought the bike and strange enough it ran ok till the manifold cracked. Then all hell broke loose. I actually have a shop here in town that had it in stock.
Thanks for the help guys will ride to Sacramento tomorrow night then run another tank and see where things stand.

You still have the HC on it? If so your better off just putting Mikuni jets in it and make sure the air jet hasn't been changed and the stock pilot is in it too. That is just my opinion anyway.  |

Thank you. I think I am about done now going to run a couple of tanks with the settings I'm at now and then see where to go next if need be.

Ok so here we are weeks later. and I have the needle the fourth clip plus a washer, and PMS at 2 1/4. all seems good will run it tomorrow and see if it is there. (God I hope so) again thank you everyone for the help |
