hello and first of all

before you go playing with your jets and all,make sure your float bowl is set right .i am no guru on carbs but i had very similar problems with mine. the last i heard ,the new setting is 5mm higher then what the book calls for . maybe somebody will step in and give the tech info on the bowl setting.just my two cents worth . hope you figure it out and get back to enjoying your ride.

Well finally got my bike back and what a difference, I dont know who worked on my bike prior but they need to find a new career or the roadstar clinic. They had installed a 210 jet, no wonder it wouldn't get out of its way. Anyway thanks for the input from all , pretty much hit it right on the money, 172.5 jet is what tuned it in and it sure runs now.
