I use ultra black for a number of things. As with any silicone based product, everything needs to be spic n span when you start, to get good adhesion. My dad is a big fan of "the right stuff" from Permatex. Says it does just about anything. He works on heavy machinery in the coal mines, so I gotta believe it! You are looking at where the head pipe and the aft pipe come together, correct?
