I have one and they work good, but stick out a little if you use the stock air box plastic back.

and I agree, works well, but does stick out a bit.

Do they stick out any worse than the stock air box?

I tlooks real close to the K&N I have(see sig. pic)
I bought mine on ebay, best offer for $100. If you get a left over for a 1600, you can get them cheap. I did and then called K&N, told them I needed the square airbox plug that the 1700 needs, sent me one out right away for free. Saved about 80 bucks.

I would say yes . They stick out closer to what a hyper charger does. If you are thinking about buying one PM me first. I might be interested in selling mine, it has the V102 on it

That's going to be a winter project for me. Port the manifold and do a BAK. Just scoping out the looks so I can decide what I want.
