Am expecting my new RH Dooley pipes today and have my Thunder Tear Drop
air cleaner on hand already,Just don`t feel comfortable doing the rejetting
my self. What kind of service do think I`ll get from a Dealer?Or we also have
a couple of Shps that do work??Do most Dealers seem prepared? A lot of Bikes
are getting these kind of Modifications before they leave the dealer??

I wasn't comfortable rejetting either so I checked out a couple of dealers and asked their service guys how they went about it. Some just followed a book, others said they "carefully analyzed" spark plugs, but my primary guy said he uses an exhaust analyzer to determine the proper jetting. I used him when I put on my Hard Kromes and he put in the jets recommended by the book, Dynojet, and said the bike was initially running bad but after the exhaust analysis went back to the stock jets and my bike runs great. I'm just now adding a Speedstar air filter and ported and polished manifold and he ordered the Speedstar jet kit believing it would work best with this set up. He said he would look at this or the Dynojets again and run the exhaust analyzer for the best results. He did a great job the first time and I'm hoping for the same again. I would just question your mechanics and see how they go about determining the right jetting and use someone who actually uses analytical tools rather than just by "feel". I hope this helps.
