exhaust weep holes? 2 Years, 9 Months ago
Hello all. I am new to the forum. Purchased a 2005 Road Star Silverado last year (all stock) and before putting it away for the winter noticed condensation coming out of the muffler onto the garage floor. I can feel the puffs of air right at a weld on the bottom of the pipe. Brought it back to the dealer and he is telling me that there are weep holes (3) in the bottom of both pipes to get alleviate condensation from building up in the muffler. Does this sound right or could there be an exhaust leak? Occasionally it'll backfire on deceleration but not that it is a big problem. The bike is coming off warranty in a week.

I believe that your dealer is right on this one. When I had my mufflers off, I think I remember seeing weep holes.
