Welcome--

With an 05 RS the advice has consistently been that you do not need to rejet if you are just swapping out pipes. Any other model year and I am not sure

OK PUT ON THE SHOGUN LONG CANNONS AND THE LOW END BLOWS!! LOST LOADS OF POWER. FELL I NEED TO REJET. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BUT AM UNCLEAR ON JUST EXACTLY HOW TO "LOOSEN THE THROTTLE CABLES" ALSO HOW DO I UNDO THE CLAMP FROM THE CARB TO THE MANIFOLD AS THE SCREW HEAD POINTS DIRECTLY UP TO THE TANK. OTHER THAN THAT SEEMS VERY EASY TO DO . ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

"The low end blows" 'cause you have less backpressure.

To put it simply:

Pipes without restrictive baffles = favours HP, lowers torque
Pipes with restrictive baffles = favours torque, lowers HP

You need to put some baffles into those suckers.

The throttle cables can be loosened at the carb. You'll see two bolts at the carb end. Loosen the top and then unscrew the cable.

If the screw head points directly up to the tank, take the tank off. You should do that anyways as it's easier to work on the carb with the tank off.
