I have a '03 silverado. HK 3" straights. BAK and rejeted. At 1/4 throttle it coughs and sometimes stalls. I am not a wrench and don't know if my wrench is either. I have tried to get them to get it running better and they can't figure it out. I have read a ton of posts and think it is my PMS screw. What settings would you suggest for my bike so that I can tell the wrench how it should be set up. I am in Austin Texas if that matters.

Thanks for any help

too funny!

Could be the PMS. Try turning it in slowly until the engine stumbles. Then, counting the number of turns from this point, turn it out until it stumbles. Midway between these two points is the appropriate setting.

It may be that your your needle setting is incorrect.

What jet kit did he put in? What's the carb set at?

I don't have a clue what they have it at. It just spits an coughs at 1/4 throttle. I was hoping that someone would have a simmilar set-up and be able to give me their settings to try. Once I get past the cough point it runs great.

Since you have a BAK you can log onto the Baron's user forum at http://www.baronscustom.com/html/forum/memberlist.php and send a message to Bulldog. he is the Baron's jetting expert and should be able to help you.
