Another jetting Question 5 Years, 8 Months ago

Resently had thunder Mfg.tear drop air cleaner installed with Roarhouse Dooley
pipes.Had local dealer do install.They had problems with the cross over pipe
and left side bracket for that pipe causing them jetting problems,(crossover
was leaking and trying to come apart)They ngot it but pipe didn`t looked at an
odd angle.Fixed that when I got home.(Go figure)anyway bike is running good after
good warm up but has slight hesitation from 1/4 to 1/2 then good,gets better in 3rd,4th&5th gears.BIG differance in gas milage went from 36&38 mpg to 45mpg with
me and wife both on board,50 mpg by myself.Asked Mechanic today what settings he
used today,(yamaha jets)190 main,40 pilot 3turns on PMS.??? was suprized with all that I`ve read thought I would be running REALLY rich.He also said he had to use the stock needle as he had no luck with the adjustable one. I have a dynojet kit on hand if I want to make any changes,just trying to get some feed back,power is good but not the leap I was expecting????Sorry this is so long
